Spring Lane
Burn Bridge
The project involved the replacement of a dated conservatory with a spacious rear extension to accommodate a large seating and dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room. Two ceiling windows and full height sliding glazing allow for plenty of natural light to flood the space and create a seamless connection to the south-facing garden.

As a dog owner, the client also desired a practical arrangement to accommodate a series of back-of-house facilities. Replacing a tired, cold and unworkable garage, a side extension was added linking the front and back gardens and comprising of a large utility room with views over the open landscape beyond, a spacious boot room with plenty of storage (and dedicated dog area!), and a light-filled toilet/shower room.

The scheme has been constructed with a carefully-selected palette of materials to reflect the distinctive nature of properties along this street and allow it to sit comfortably within the beautiful rural surroundings.
