As both clients worked mostly from home, they wanted to introduce additional office space without compromising the layout of their existing floorplan. The loft was sensitively converted to provide an bright and airy office with far-reaching views over open countryside. To maximise use of the space, a well proportioned guest bedroom with ensuite was also created.
In addition, the client wanted to improve the aesthetics of the ground floor living area. This was reconfigured with plenty of room to accommodate a grand piano and entertain family and friends. Full height doors were introduced to brighten up the space whilst allowing guests to spill out onto the terrace and into the garden on those balmy summer evenings.
